Ethan Babel

Ethan is a senior student athlete from San Francisco, California double majoring in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics, while also pursuing a master's in Financial Mathematics. He's primarily interested in Machine Learning and Fintech as verticals, and is particularly intrigued by startups who's goal is to commoditize compute as a standardized financial security. On campus outside of A-Level, he is a member of the Salant Investment Group, a brother of Phi Kappa Psi, and plays for the Johns Hopkins Varsity Water Polo team. Professionally, Ethan spent his 2026 summer in New York working as a Quant at Goldman Sachs, and he plans to return their full time following graduation in 2027. In his free time he enjoys skiing, lifting, and playing poker.
